Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility

Dr. Sam Najmabadi is a member of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI). Members of SREI are a select group of physicians who are committed to providing excellence in reproductive health through education, research, and patient care. Membership is limited to physicians who have been certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) as having special knowledge and proficiency in the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology and in the subspecialty of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Fewer than 800 physicians have achieved this distinction.

Meet Fertility Doctor Sam Najmabadi
Beverly Hills, Valencia, Burbank

Sam Najmabadi, M.D., is a board-certified specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (RE/I). He is a past Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Ob/Gyn at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine.

Active in research, Dr. Najmabadi has conducted and has been involved with several studies, including research for FDA approval of fertility drugs, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), and Hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and regularly participates in clinical IVF trials. He is the recipient of the Ortho Pharmaceutical Uwe Goebelsmann, M.D., memorial research award and scholarship. Dr. Najmabadi has published and presented at scientific conventions and speaks regularly to professional medical gatherings and patient groups. He has special interest in egg freezing and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).

A graduate of UCSD in biochemistry and cell biology, USC School of Medicine, Dr. Najmabadi completed his residency in Ob/Gyn at USC. He then completed a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility (RE/I) at USC.

Dr. Najmabadi enjoys a very high success rate with infertility patients requiring Assisted Reproductive Techniques, especially IVF and egg donation. Other than IVF, he is an expert in Reproductive surgery involving tubal reanastomosis, laparoscopic pelvic surgery and tubal reconstruction, and endometriosis, in addition to myomectomy (fibroid removal) in patients seeking fertility restoration. Dr. Najmabadi is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, American Society of Reproductive Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and member of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

The Center for Reproductive Health & Gynecology has a dedicated IVF Laboratory. Our IVF laboratory is FDA compliant; California licensed Tissue Bank, CLIA and CAP certified. Our laboratory is continually seeking to incorporate new and improved laboratory methods and procedures so that we can help you meet your goal, pregnancy!
